Sara Stuart is a proud Kamilaroi woman and a seasoned leader in Indigenous economic development and employment strategy. With over two decades of experience, she has dedicated her career to fostering inclusive workplaces and enhancing employment and training opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Sara has held significant roles, including Director of Aboriginal Economic Development at the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions, and Group CEO of Indigenous Employment Partners. In March 2025, she joined Coles in a senior leadership position, bringing her extensive expertise in cultural leadership and industry insight to the organization. Her commitment to addressing poverty and hardship among Indigenous Australians continues to drive her efforts in creating meaningful change.
